Although this debate focuses on allocation and pricing considerations, contractors must remain vigilant with regard to the transition from pre-award to provision under contracts covered by the SCA. during the performance, contractors (i) must ensure that they pay the appropriate salary and ancillary benefits, (ii) monitor compliance with the SCA of their subcontractors, (iii) verify whether revised DoL wage fixings have been issued and included in the contract by the contract manager in the exercise of options or, as otherwise necessary, in accordance with the SCA and its implementing rules; and (iv) continuously assess whether changes to the contract or subcontract declaration require new categories of work or whether changes in staff work obligations require revised coverage analyses, work category allowances or updated performance locations.
